OUR STORY WITH ECLECTIC INSTITUTE
when i was in herb school from 2001 to 2003 we were challenged as future practitioners by our program’s dean that “if you weren't giving your clients your own handmade medicines you’d better be giving them eclectic institute.” i'm not sure what my 2–3 years working for wild oats at the same time offered them, but it certainly helped develop eclectic’s sales rather incredibly at that location.
eclectic is my baby in many ways by way of being my first brand partner. i was doing demos for them at the time i left chicago when the opportunity arose to do sales for them.
they’re simply the best herb line on the market. end of story. freeze drying is such a superior way to preserve herbs than air-drying or CO2 extracting and certainly standardizing. the goal is to provide preserved, whole plant medicine assuming mother nature made these medicinal plants perfect in their own balanced natures.
13 years into it eclectic just feels like my roots, my legs. i only knew the retail side and the herbalist side of our industry. i didn’t know or appreciate sales (for many years to come). i ‘sold’ by way of education. working with eclectic reminds me where i find my heart: helping people.
